| 0:00.0 | Welcome to our daily rosary meditation. Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. |
| 0:04.8 | Amen. Let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for. |
| 0:09.2 | Today is the feast of St. Justin Martyr. |
| 0:17.8 | He was born just north of Jerusalem near the Palestinian city of Nablis around the year 100. He spent a long time seeking the truth, studying philosophy under the Stoics, but he wanted to learn about God. |
| 0:30.0 | So he approached a Pythagorean. Have you ever met a Pythagorean. |

| 1:00.0 | Finally, one day as he walked by the seashore, Justin met an old man who helped him realize that while human reason by itself could prove that God exists, it couldn't tell him who God is or what God wanted for his life. |
| 1:18.0 | And the only person who could do that was Jesus Christ. And so Justin converted to Catholicism. And after his conversion, |
| 1:29.3 | he went to all the holy sites connected with Jesus, especially the birthplace of Jesus in Bethlehem, |
| 1:36.8 | as well as Calvary and the empty tomb of the resurrection in Jerusalem, all well known to the early Catholics. |
| 1:45.0 | Then Justin moved to Rome, where he started a school to teach people the Catholic |
| 1:49.8 | faith free of charge. This is another reason I like Justin Martyr. He was a layman who |
| 1:57.3 | wanted to teach people the faith and that has always been my desire. |
| 2:02.5 | And that's why I started the School of Faith in 2005. |
| 2:06.5 | And it's why we aim to teach the Catholic faith |
| 2:11.0 | and to teach people how to pray through the rosary free of charge. |
