He spoke to the media on Sunday and there were some big developments that came from that press conference. So we'll discuss them on today's show. The NFL owners meetings are always a time that makes me nervous because the possibility exists that Jets owner and CEO Woody Johnson

could speak to the media. So we'll keep our eye on that on Monday and through the rest of the week.

And we'll find out whether the Jets have learned their lesson or not because nothing good

ever happens when Woody Johnson speaks to the media. All he does is instill fear in the fan base

that something bad's going to happen because Woody Johnson never sounds like he knows what's going up.

If Woody Johnson was the CEO of a public corporation, whenever he spoke to the media,

you'd like turn on CNBC and you'd see like the Jet Stocktickr immediately turn into the red

and take a nose dive because that's what happens when CEOs like Woody Johnson speak to the media.

Fortunately on Sunday, the Jets let their GM speak to the media.

The Jets are letting the football people speak to the media right now.

So we'll see if that continues.

Let's hope they keep Woody Johnson away from the microphones.

Darren Mugi spoke to the microphones yesterday, and he made some news.

And it's interesting news.

It's not surprising news, but it's big news.

Mugi indicated that Justin Fields is the starting quarterback for the Jets in 2025.

Now, this is no real surprise.

And Mugi expressed confidence in fields.
