So sometimes you record a podcast and you break a whole game down and then something happens

right when you get done with the podcast that changes the whole thing.

And that's what happened today with Justin Fields going on the reserve COVID-19 list.

What a fitting way to end this 2021 Chicago Bears season.

So there's still a small chance he could clear the protocols and play Sunday in Minneapolis.

Considering that you have to be symptomatic to even test positive now with the, you know,

go through the testing process with the way the NFL has us now. That seems like unlikely he would

be asymptomatic and be cleared by Sunday. I guess it's possible, but there's a good chance

Andy Dalton is going to be starting for the Chicago Bears this week. So we just did a whole episode

on debating whether or not Justin Field even should play

in this game. I think that that's still relevant, the conversation, whether or not he should have played or not played. If you're on the side of him, he shouldn't have played, well, then, hey, look, maybe it works out for you here. We still talk about that here. We're going to leave that all in the podcast. And then, you know, to be honest, the way we previewed things and made our predictions, you know, some of this is going to sound like it doesn't apply anymore. But I got to be honest, I don't know that my prediction changes a whole lot with Andy Dalton playing. We talked about passing yards and passing touchdowns. Andy Dolan's probably not going to run for any touchdowns like Justin Fields may have,

but I really don't know that a whole lot changes. And quite frankly, we're all trying to get to

next week anyway, right, with all the news. So instead of re-recording the whole thing,

here's the podcast. We apologize that Justin Fields is not playing anymore, but I think you'll still enjoy a lot of this conversation.
