0:45.3	brand new book, which is the center point of our entire interview today, which is this book here.
0:49.3	The surprising rebirth of belief in God, why new Atheism grew old and secular thinkers are
0:55.3	considering Christianity again. This is his third appearance on the podcast. He's been here on
1:00.2	episode 189 and episode 32. But this podcast, it's one of my favorite conversations that we've
1:06.0	done this year. Part of it is because we scheduled a lot of time. And so I didn't feel like I couldn't
1:11.3	ask follow up. So I couldn't really weave in and out of the book. But it really is a fantastic
1:15.9	book. And in this interview, we talk about the rise and fall of new new Atheism. Why that happened?
1:22.9	Why the four horsemen of Atheism were considered to be these these paragons of of intellect and virtue
1:28.4	and then it was just kind of found wanting how Matthew Arnold's to see a faith kind of features
1:33.5	very prominently in the scaffolding of this book. We talked about the I guess the different
1:39.5	conversations that he's having with these secular folks like a Jonathan Hyder Jordan Peterson
1:45.0	or Douglas Murray and how they have a reverence for scripture, even though they don't have a
1:49.8	I guess typical belief in the stories of scripture, if that makes any sense. So we definitely
1:55.4	get into a lot of that. We talk about the cowardice of a lot of the the four horsemen, especially
1:59.8	guys like Richard Dawkins, not debating people like William Lane Craig just kind of coming out of
2:04.9	that cowardice, how the kind of the woke movement cannibalized new Atheism, which is hilarious. And I
2:10.2	love it. I'm here for it. But then just how new Atheism wasn't speaking to young men. But people
