performer in life, love, and business. And joining me today is Justin Barretta. And Justin is an

electronic music producer and founding member of the Glitch Mob, a Los Angeles-based live

electronic group known for its risk-taking

style and sonic experimentation. So Justin and I talk about a whole bunch of different things. One of the

main things that we discuss is the intersection between artistry and spirituality, between

creativity and our spiritual understanding and connection

to existence and how that intersection meets. Justin has done some really incredible work

outside of his work with the glitch mob and actually worked on a little bit of a project

with Ram Dass where he took one of one of the

teachings that Ram Dass had done.

I'm not too sure when it was from, but a few decades ago.

And it was actually a meditation that Ram Dass had led.

And Justin puts that meditation, that guided meditation to a music track that he specifically

created and designed to enhance the experience of going into the meditative state while

listening to Ram Dass's meditation. So I'll have a link for that in the bio. I really enjoyed it,

actually. I've used it quite a few times now and have really enjoyed it. It's a lengthier one, but it's great to get into. So I hope that you enjoy that. And then we talk about his upcoming project where he's working with Alan Watts's son. And he's taking some of the old teachings of Alan Watts,

and I think potentially some of the unheard teachings. Mark Watts, which is Alan Watts's son,

has a whole bunch of Alan Watts's teachings and recordings, and a bunch of it is unpublished.

So we talk about that and we talk about what he's producing and just some of the

ways in which he goes about creating some of this content.
