You know, in all these cases, these stars that

we're talking about, you know, Miley with bangers working with Mike Will Made It, you know,

blackout Britney with danger, and then Justin Bieber with Scrillix. You know, finding these

sort of sound architects to guide them through these challenging parts of

their lives is the most important part. And I think in some ways the thing that separates

fine pop stars from great pop stars is the ability to weaponize negative narratives against you

into like exciting grist in the music. Like that is Michael Jackson, that's Madonna, that's everybody that's exciting. Like,

if you either generate a piece of, like, negative attention or you come into a piece of

negative attention unintentionally, Taylor's so good at this too. Like, you just, you grab it,

you metabolize it, and you turn it into a power. And I think that, like, that is what separates

the grates in a lot of instances, at least in the modern sort of media ecosystem that we exist in. And this album, I think, does that as well as any possibly can. So I think really before we talk about all the music on this record, the song that feels really important to talk about that really changes everything is, where are you now, the Jackie song with skrillex and diplo that justin is

featured on which sort of like i think both sets forth a lot of the like thematic ideas and like

aesthetic ideals of this record as well as kind of like the trop house sort of like lineage in existence

where you now dead and nature So if that is true, I know you're not dead.
