Hey and welcome back to another episode of Justice Pending. I'm joined today by a special guest, Tanita Matthews, is a journalist joining us from the South Coast of England today. Tanita, welcome to the show.

So today we're going to be talking about a very fascinating

unsolved case that I had never heard of, which happens somewhat infrequently. So I'm excited to hear

about this case and to have Tanita take us through because this is one that she has

researched and worked on for a long time. And she's really quite the authority on this case.

She wrote a book. It's called The Murder of Judith Roberts with her co-author here, Chris Clark. And yeah, so let's get into it.

Tell me, who was Judith Roberts? Judith Roberts was a 14-year-old girl. She lived in Tamworth,

in Staffordshire, which is kind of the the West Midlands area of the UK.

Judith was a sister. She was also a twin. She was a daughter. She was a young girl who was quite shy, kept herself to herself, but you know, had school

friends and had hobbies and interests. She loved the bike that she had at her home. It was a Christmas

gift from her parents. She was just your quintessential, young British schoolgirl.

And tell me, paint a picture for me, when does she go missing? What time are we talking about in history here?

And what are the circumstances of her disappearance?
