This is Justice Pending live from Grapevine, the Jennifer Harris story. So I'm joined by two

special guests tonight. I'm your host, Claire Sanamaw, and I have Daryl Parker here, a private

investigator, as well as Barry Wernick, who is a member of Jennifer Harris' family. Thank you both for coming.

Thanks for happening. Yeah, of course. So this is a case that has been a part of my true crime

storytelling for about a decade. It is a case that I can remember coming across as a young reporter for CBS News,

and it's still unsolved today. So Jennifer Harris was just 28 years old when she disappeared from her hometown of Bonham, Texas.

And she was found a week later in the Red River.

And at that time, her cause of death was not immediately apparent, but she was obviously

the victim of homicidal violence. So I'm so honored to have a member of Jennifer's family here tonight who can tell us more

about who she was before this terrible event and just kind of give us a picture of her life

and not just her death.

So, Barry, can you tell us who was Jennifer Harris?

Well, Jennifer Harris was my wife's big sister. She was three years older. They couldn't be

anything, I guess, more different than one another. Jennifer was a sort of crunchy granola, outdoorsy girl who had a master's in marine biology
