Okay, it is Sunday morning, October 19th, 2025. The Louvre has been open for just half an hour when a truck pulls up to the side of the museum. It's 9.30 a.m. Inside that truck are four men

dressed like construction workers. They have reflective vests, helmets, the whole shebang. Almost immediately,

they raise an extendable ladder and climb up to the second floor balcony, leading to the Apollo

Gallery, home of the French crown jewels. Which, by the way, is just a few rooms from the Mona Lisa.

So imagine being that close to the painting, but instead you're going for Napoleon's diamonds.
