I'm Dana Stevens, Slate's movie critic, and this week we will be spoiling the latest installment in the DC.C. universe, Justice League, directed by Zach Snyder.

Hey, how's it going?

Pretty well.

So you are finishing up your review of this movie right now.

So I'll just start off by asking, did you like it?

No.

Very polite, polite pause there.

It's more of a no-but.

I, you know, as we'll discuss, I found a large chunk of this movie to be punishing in all

of the ways the last Zach Snyder, DC Comics,, team up movie, Batman v. Superman, Dawn of Justice from last year was.

Um, that said, there are some tonal, uh, changes to this one.

And in part, uh, thanks to the involvement of Joss Whedon, the, uh, writer and Marvel's Avengers, that do make it fun-ish in parts.
