Summary

Netflix, you inspired us yet again! After watching the documentary "America's Sweethearts", we were curious to do a deep dive on America's favorite cheerleaders. In the episode, we go through the history of the DCC, from the start in the 70s, to how they became international superstars throughout the 80s and 90s, and now how we see the team today through a different lens and with the many reality shows about the women. We go through the intense auditions, insanely rigorous training schedule, the pay inequality, the toxicity of the NFL and the Dallas Cowboy organization in general because JUSTICE FOR CHEERLEADERS, and unfortunately review many sexual harassment and assault the women have had to endure. After the history, we dive into the documentary at about 57 minutes, for those who wanted and want to hear our thoughts and concerns. TW: SA & Body Image discussions.
