Over the last couple of weeks, a series of reports pulled the curtains back on possible

ethics violations by Justice Thomas.

It started with an investigation by pro-publica that revealed the depth of a relationship

between Thomas and a major Republican donor.

This included decades of lavish gifts and paid vacations.

None it disclosed.

Then came revelations of undercover real estate deals and continued claims of income from

a company that had not existed for years.

Mark Joseph Stern is a senior writer at Slate covering the courts and the law.

He is among a growing number of experts who see this not only as a crisis for Justice Thomas

but for the high court itself.

Our tell us about the stories we've heard recently regarding Clarence Thomas and possible

ethics violations.

Tell us what we've learned so far.

What we've learned is that Justice Thomas has a long time friendship with a Republican

billionaire, Megadoner, named Harlan Crow.

This friendship began a few years after Justice Thomas joined the bench in the early 90s.

It has flourished into a very close association between Justice Thomas, his wife Ginny, Harlan

Crow and his own family.

What we've discovered is that Justice Thomas has been accepting extraordinarily lavish vacations

on Crow's dime.
