which I have returned to after 10 months of being in transit. And we wanted to be in a new practice, new old practice, of also

naming the territory, the occupied territory that we are on and functioning from.

So for this episode, I'm introducing to you that Detroit is on Anishnabe territory.

And I want to bring you into this week's episode which is a little different.

First of all, Autumn had some family business that she needed to attend to

and was not able to join us for this particular

conversation which has a very specific timing and a very specific way that

it happened which is very exciting. So I'm steering this ship on my own but it's a Detroit ship

through Detroit waters and I think that it works out okay. Last week the show

that we got to do was a part of the Detroit Podcast Festival and I got to interview two incredible

Incredible Visionary Dreamers in Detroit.

PG Watkins is one of the original members of the BYP 100 chapter in Detroit

and has gone on to create the 313 Liberation Zone.

I also got to experience their incredible work through the Detroit

Narrative Agency, and PG is just a dear friend and a beloved who's going to come and talk to you about justice.

And then Amanda Alexander is coming on who, when Amanda moved to to Detroit it was like a ripple wave of

thrill and excitement that people were like someone new is here who we

desperately need and she created something called the Detroit Justice Center, which is outstanding
