Summary

Just when we were about ready to give up hope, it now looks like the Big Ten will have a football season that begins in October. Nothing is official yet, but a lot of positive steps happened late last week and over the weekend. We could learn as soon as today whether the league will reverse course and give its teams an opportunity to play this fall, and early enough where they can be eligible for the College Football Playoff. But the news is not all good as star cornerback Shaun Wade has decided to turn pro. This on the heels of All-American right guard Wyatt Davis also opting out of what could be a season that begins next month. 1:13.9	chancellors met yesterday, but Patrick obviously feels like good news is on the
1:19.2	horizon. What is the latest you were hearing about all of this?
1:22.0	Certainly better than how we felt the last time you and I were on here or even late last week.
1:29.0	You know, the roller coaster ride that is this last month plus now is continuing and we seem to be on the upswing.
1:39.0	From my understanding is similar to what you just said. There was meetings this weekend. It started with the big 10 return to play task force
1:50.7	You know presenting new medical information, how these teams can return to play safely, what protocols will be, all this stuff that frankly probably should have happened a month ago when they first made this decision or at least, you know, some of this information so they could decide maybe to delay it, you know, as we talked about plenty of time.

2:19.0	President's Chancellor has met again. I haven't heard anything about the vote in particular. I'm not even sure if they've done
