Many versions of fear have been invoked, and you're here for the one truth we all have something

we fear, even if that fear is learning that you no longer fear. What is left after that?

The 13 following stories, as with many I've found in red, are your own personal litmus

test to your fears. Do you still believe in life in a way that losing someone is your worst fear?

When I was 10, my school went on a school trip to Edinburgh Scotland, took ages to get there. By the time we got off the

coach, everyone was really tired. I was sharing a room with some of my friends. We got into our room

we unpacked and chilled for a bit before we went out for a tour of the city with a guide.

Everyone was really tired so no one was really paying attention. When we got back to our hotel at 8 we were told to go to bed. We all lay in our beds, wide awake.

Even though being exhausted, no one could sleep. Like there was an energy in the air keeping us all awake.

It could have been the energy of just being on a school trip.

At about 930 there was a really loud truck driving past our window. I got up to shut the window because it was cold anyway. When I looked down, I glanced

to the opposite side of the street. There was an old man outside the door of the house opposite

to us, staring up at the roof. There are also a group of teenage girls

talking quickly in a foreign language. I did what any reasonable person would have

done and looked up. Directly across from me standing on the roof of the old man's house, there was a man, his feet inches away from the edge looking at me. I still remember his face. He was wearing a hoodie, track suit, and Nike trainers.
