But for now, enjoy these. Rooed Dad. I was having a smoke with my dad in the bathroom. We have an exhaust fan in there, middle of the winter and says scatchewan, and I'm not going outside. I get up to go and get a glass of water,

then go sit in the living room.

Our house is pretty small and open,

so I can very clearly see the bathroom door from where I'm sitting.

My dad walks out of the bathroom and looks at me.

I say, hey, what do you want me to make for supper?

Doesn't say anything.

Just looks at me and then walks away and enters his bedroom where I can very clearly hear him start knocking things around

I say again, hey, that's pretty rude. I'm talking to you

Sound stop my dad comes out of the bathroom and says to me,

what are you yelling about?

Who did I just make eye contact with, talk to, and then watch, walk into my dad's bedroom. Something's wrong.

In the early 2000s, my family was living in Europe and in December of 2001 we were coming back home to Latin America for Christmas vacation.

My brother and I, both in high school at the time, and my dad were flying together from Paris to Miami.

My dad was seated in business class while my brother and I were in coach sitting in the middle

two seats of the middle row.

The flight was pretty normal at first, absolutely nothing out of the ordinary.

About four or five hours into the flight, I was reading a book, almost dozing off,

when I heard a woman start to repeat the word, no, over and over.

At first it was really quiet almost inaudible but it quickly
