Woman with red hair. When I was a little kid I had an imaginary friend, a woman with red hair.

My parents were sick and tired of me, always talking to myself and considered taking me to

a psychologist.

Those plans were dashed one night when my dad came into my room after hearing me talk to myself.

He told me we were leaving for the grocery store and I asked if I could bring my friend along.

My dad wanted to prove to me I was just seeing things and told me he had to meet my friend before they could come with us.

I looked confused and didn't know what to tell him when suddenly I screamed of joy.

She's standing right behind you.

My parents screamed as our old neighbor who had recently been evicted

was found hiding in our closet. Shadow, that I see.

I grew up in a haunted house.

This house was three stories and 5,000 square feet. It was moderately

new. Built in the 60s located in the middle of the woods, creepy enough without the haunted

part. One time, we're all watching TV downstairs in the basement, basically just the ground level

floor at the bottom of the house.

The kitchen is right above the TV room.

It's nearly 10 p.m. All of a sudden we hear what sounds like a man with

work boots on stomping through the kitchen. We pause the movie and all look at each other like,

oh no, not this again. My grandpa tells us to stay downstairs. He goes upstairs and returns about five minutes later.

All the doors are locked, all the lights are off, there is no one in the house.

We all just stare at each other completely freaked out and resume watching the movie.
