It's now time for just the terror with Nick Guerra.

Curtains. When I was a kid I shared a room with my little brother. We had a bunk bed I at the top bunk and mostly slept at the door open so the light from the landing lit our room.

When I was around 8 I started to hear someone walking up the stairs during the night,

walk past our room, and go into the bathroom without shutting the door. The height of the bed

meant I couldn't see who had passed my door, but although this sometimes happened before other people

and my family had gone to bed, I knew from the lightness of the steps that this wasn't one of

them. On some occasions, when I felt brave enough, I checked to see if anyone was in the bathroom

there never was. When I was older and got my own room I always felt like there was

another presence in there especially at night. One night, when I was a teenager, I was

messing around with my phone camera. Phones with cameras were a relatively new

thing at the time and I think this one was only two megapixel and displayed on a two inch screen.

There was no light on in my room so I pointed at the window above my door where you could see

the hall light.

There was something blocking the light in the middle of the window though. I spent a good minute

staring at it and trying to work out what was in the way before I realized that the thing was an outline of a face.

I immediately dropped my phone and ran downstairs turning all the lights on.

I slept in the living room that night. Unfortunately, I was too freaked out to take the photo.

On another occasion in this room, I was crying while lying in my bed and I felt

someone something pet me on the shoulder. I was the only person in my room. Again I slept

downstairs. A few years later I was in my room. Again, I slept downstairs.

A few years later, I was in my brother's room just hanging out.

It was dark outside, but the curtains were open, so you could see the reflection from the room
