Zander Michelson. I keep thinking of how I ended up in this police station.

They want a written statement. I guess I should start from the beginning so you can know how I ended up here.

In 2011, my grandfather passed away.

He left us a home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

It was beautiful.

His Victorian home. Five bedrooms, two bathrooms, full basement, and an attic along with a handwritten note, but my family didn't bother to read the note. It was the perfect dream home for a family.

Me, my mother and father, my two brothers Robert Michael, who were 12 and 13, and my older sister

Claire was 17.

We were so excited we took the trip and saw the home the following week.

When we arrived, it was a week just before December, just in time for Christmas.

We were able to go take a look around.

I rushed up the stairs to find the biggest room to claim for myself.

I was 16, so of course you understand why I didn't waste any time.

I picked the room closest to the bathroom just so that in the morning I can beat everyone to the shower.

My room was really nice. It had spider webs on the windows and dust everywhere.

I helped my father move in everything that went back to my room to get started on cleaning my room.

I took a broom in a dust pan to my room and close the door.

That's when I noticed the mirror behind the door. My sister Claire wanted this room because of the

mirror, but I don't want to switch because it was the biggest I tried to take it down but it seemed to be embedded into the door
