Dead silent. My father had just moved out of the city and into a new house a few hours away from where I was living.

This really weird voice answered.

He didn't really sound like a normal person, more like an angry man.

The man says to me that my dad's not home and mumbles other things.

I call back later. This time my dad did answer.

I say, hey, I tried to call you before but you weren't home. Some guys said you were out and you'd be back later. My dad doesn't say anything at first. Just long enough for me to notice the silence. Finally, my dad says, no one's even been in the house yet, only me.

Then he explains that he thinks he's been hearing and seeing ghosts in the house.

Turns out the house was a doctor's office during the plague.

Tons of people died there looking for help.

He had the place exercised like three times since

Okay, so this is going to require some brief history of the area.

Basically after the Ottomans lost power in North Africa,

specifically Libya, the Italians took over. This was just before W. W.1 in 1912 to

1913. This led to a huge war with what are now considered Libyans and the Italians.

Libyans had the upper hand being on home soil and knowing the mountains pretty well, but more importantly they knew where all the caves were.

They caused the Italians loads and loads of trouble spanning a full 30-year war, which ended

with the Italians winning.

The death toll was huge, and most of the casualties were buried in the mountains because it was simply
