Now the number of vehicles on dealer lots will shrink the longer the walk out walk out goes on.

Dealers are likely to lose incentives that manufacturers pay them to boost sales by cutting prices and consumers might make things worse.

Worse by panic buying, which is what we always do in these situations for general motors.

They built up inventories of vehicles ahead of Thursday night strike and the UAW decided to limit the walk out to just three plants at least for now.

But it could become all the plants. And if the strike isn't ended soon, there could be shortages of some makers and models.

Big sellers or vehicles that have already that are already short short supply like the Chevrolet Chevrolet Silverado.
