Neither Elon Musk nor anybody else will ever colonize Mars.

Gentlemen, that's the headline of a story on the website, defector.com

by an author whose name is Albert Bernico, B-U-R-N-E-K-O, and his premise is that Mars is

unconscionably inhospitable. It is beyond anything that we can imagine and anybody who has a fantasy

about an ongoing colony on Mars or terraforming Mars or anything like that is out of their bleeding mind.

Steve, we'll start off with what he starts off with was the fact that Mars apparently lacks an essential ingredient called a magnetosphere.

Unlike Earth, it does not have that kind of magnetic pole kind of system.

And therefore, Mars is utterly vulnerable to deadly cosmic rays and constantly beating against it.

He mentions the resupply time for getting anything to Mars,

which can be up to nine months, but it, you know, you could you could solve that if you were

constantly launching rockets there. No breathable air, Steve. He basically says, we will never live on Mars. Steve, why isn't Elon Musk reading

defector.com and going along with Albert Bernico's thesis here? Well, he's a man with a dream.

He's a man on a mission. There's that for starters.

Yeah, this idea of terraforming Mars, I'm pretty sure that's impossible for reasons you just listed.

If we're going to live there, and I guess we're working on it, Muske is it's going to have to be underground.

That's why he's got the boring companies, learning how to dig great big tunnels with one of as many companies.

And I imagine that piece by piece, they're going to ship one or two of those massive boring machines on starships to Mars.

And by the way, that is the whole plan.
