Today I'm going to be talking about the murder of Kathleen Bullock.

It's the kind of message you never expect to read.

Not from a friend, not from a husband,

and not with a woman already dead. I lost my mind, years of physical and emotional abuse.

I shot her. Now the text didn't ask for help, the text didn't ask for forgiveness, but it did ask for a preacher.

And by the time police arrived at the quiet, Longview, Texas home on Crystal Street, Kathleen Bullock was already gone.

This is the murder of Kathleen Bullock, and the man accused of killing her, is the man she once trusted the most, her husband, Levan Bullock. To neighbors, Kathleen and Levan Bullock didn't just

stand out. They were older, quiet, and had been married for years. But from the outside, their life appeared

settled, the kind of marriage that had simply endured. But according to people closest to them,

the relationship behind closed doors was anything but peaceful. By August of 2025,

Kathleen had reached a breaking point. She told at least one friend that she wanted a divorce. Now, for some couples, divorce is an ending. For others,

it's a trigger. Friends and neighbors would later tell police that LeVan believed Kathleen was having an

affair, a suspicion that, whether real or imagined, seemed to fuel his growing resentment.

And resentment left to fester can become something far more dangerous. On the afternoon of September 22nd, 2025, police were dispatched to the Bullock home for a welfare check.

The request hadn't come from Kathleen.

It came because of a text message.

A text sent by Levant to a friend, one so alarming that the recipient immediately knew

something was terribly wrong. When officers arrived, they forced their way into the home. Inside,

they made a grim discovery. Kathleen Bullock was found dead inside the bathroom suffering from gunshot wounds.

She was pronounced dead at the scene. But LeVon was still inside the house, alive, but in medical
