It is Thursday, January 29th, and we just heard from an adult in Minneapolis. And with that, welcome to this episode

of Amy and T.J. I say that role was because we just listened to. He's wrapping up, but Tom

Holman, the new person in charge that the president has sent there. He has said some things now

that makes you actually think, you know who I thought about? What was the guy they put on the ground after Hurricane Katrina? Honoree? Yes. It makes it seem like there's chaos

and we have an adult who's come to clean this mess up. I liked what I heard from this guy.

Look, you have been asking for and questioning where is the voice of reason? Where is the person who we can say he's in charge,

he's going to unite us,

he's going to make this thing better.

And we hadn't had that until now.

We had folks fanning the flames, fueling the fire.

The tensions weren't getting tamped down, but you know what? Hearing Tom,

Holman, the borders are, speak today. It was like a father figure, a grandfather figure,

or whatever, but this person who you're like, you get it, you've been there, done that,

you know how to lead, and you know how to bring people together. Even his demeanor, people have seen him. There is no emotion to this guy as he does

his job. And maybe that's what's needed right now because everybody who stepped in front of a microphone

has had some emotion in that voice. I had not thought about that, but you nailed it. You actually need somebody

who can take emotion out of it and get things done the way they need to be done with less emotion.

And that is what tends to lead to the violence. So you're right. I hadn't thought it, but he is

just straightforward. It's what you want. It's who you want in charge of a mess like this.
