Good morning everyone and welcome back to another mornings with the masters.

We devote ourselves to the Lord daily with you.

We are picking back up with new morning mercies, and I'm just going to take from here.

It says this, somehow, some way, your little kingdom will look very

attractive to you today, but it is the very kingdom from which Grace works

unrelentingly to rescue you. The Bible really is a story of

kingdoms and conflict and that battle rages on in the field of your heart.

It rages for control of your soul.

The two kingdoms and conflict cannot live in peace

with one another.

There will never be a truce.

That's convicting. There is no safe

demilitarized zone where you can live. Each kingdom demands your loyalty and

your worship. Okay. was not ready for this one today.

I was like Paul Tripp, just give us a softball.

Give us something easy today.

Don't hit me in the chest.

But, you know, he said, nope, I'm going to show up. I'm going to do what I do.

Each kingdom promises you life. One kingdom leads you to the king of kings and the other sets you up as the king. The big kingdom works to

the throne you and decimate your little kingdom of one while the little kingdom

seduces you with promises that it cannot deliver.

The big kingdom of glory and grace is gorgeous from every perspective, but it doesn't always
