I'm Tasha Robinson, here with Keith Phipps, Genevieve Kosky, and Scott Tobias. We've all been tentatively headed back to theaters lately as we head into prestige season and a barrage of new films by some creators we love. So here's wishing you a theater full of masked and faxed people who don't compromise your safety. Remember, when you're in a theater, you're breathing the recycled air that everybody else has been breathing. So wearing a mask isn't just socially responsible. Okay, wait, why are you all wearing rebreathers and still suits? Isn't that taking this hygiene thing a little too far? Okay, look, I know this is where we normally do a little scripted banter around the theme of the movie of the moment, but frankly, these movies are both really, really long. The first one's nearly four hours and covers years of real-world incident in its character's lives. Do you think we have time to waste on pretending we're all wearing science fiction water recycling suits, Tasha? I mean, if David Lean was telling this story, he would definitely spend at least 45 minutes on the pretending we're all wearing still suits part of the podcast.
