So I just did a do-over.

I had the worst vacation, St. Bart's Christmas. I told you why. It was a nightmare. I know it sounds ridiculous. It just was terrible. A death, a bacterial infection, vile people, bad parenting, all of it, terrible. I had someone from the Corps who has a stunning, magnificent boat, invite me on a trip. And I was hesitant. I almost canceled the last

minute. I was exhausted. Someone on the boat said to me, just come. And I leaned in and I went.

And it was extraordinary. And it reinforced so much that it's really not what you are doing.

It's who you're with. Like the people on this boat were so nice. The person is a bonafide

host. They just are an incredible host. They surround themselves with incredible people,

beautiful people, wonderful people, good people. And I felt safe. And in the past,

I've been friends with some hedge fund, private equity guys that I've just known my whole life. And like, they hang out with young bimbos. They like buy the Meramez bags on the first date. Like there's a vibe of sleaze. There's like characters coming in and out. And because I grew up at the racetrack, I'm sort of used to that type of person and don't really think about how they're living because it really doesn't necessarily apply to me.

But always the energy has sort of rubbed off.

And every time I've been around them,

like staying with them in different locations

or being on like billionaires' boats,

which I've told you stories before,

this one big high profile billionaire whose boat I went on,

like the people around are just superficial

and like the people that are running the boat make you feel like they're the boss. They're in charge. It's their program. It's their money. It's their lunchtime. It's their plan. You feel like you're walking on eggshells. This was a host as wealthy as anyone and just was gracious. And like everyone on the boat was a reflection of that person and it was

really wonderful. I have to say like I had such a nice time and it was this person said to me,

I'm going to give you the same parts that you did not experience. And we hiked and saw baby goats

and ducks and hiked from beach to beach and just swam and like went to nice lunches

and workout clothes and it wasn't like a flex and it wasn't a waste of money.
