So if any of you are thinking about getting in business or in business or have any sort of

connection to business, I just want you to know that the hardest thing about business for me

and many people that I speak to is building a team. Now, there are many different people you can hire and you can think it's going well, but you're

having some growing pains.

Or it sometimes is like your closet where it just creeps up on you, your garage, and you're like,

wait, this is a disaster.

My refrigerator, I got to get rid of everything in here or whatever.

Like you could think everything's going well with work, but then one day be like, no, I'm just sort of like gaslighting myself and pretending this is okay because I don't want to deal with it. Same thing with like when you're disciplining your kids sometimes, you just like take the path of least resistance. I say this because with staff, it's really hard to find the right combination. And you have to keep tinkering with it until you get it

right and it's really tedious. It can be like, I don't know, you're like line up for your

basketball team and four out of five players are great for the starting lineup. But like there's

one that's not good or I have no idea. You're only as good as your weakest link. Whatever all the

analogies and metaphors are,

I can say that I can have three departments going well and multiple people doing their jobs,

right, but the one person who's not will pull the whole program and be distracting. So it's super

tedious, like a puzzle. We've talked about this in dating where like one piece is just like a bent

corner. And if that person touches a lot of different people in your organization, then it can be

very disruptive. It could be the same thing if your daughter's on a volleyball team and there's one

person or in the friend group, there's one person. Like it's not just work, but you've got to keep

tinkering with it until you get it right because

with work, it can affect your entire flow. And it's so exhausting to be like, shit, those three people
