The leading Republican candidate for president was found liable for sexual abuse and defamation today in a federal court room in Manhattan.

It took the jury just under three hours to come to their unanimous decision that Donald Trump did sexually abuse E. Jean Carroll, the writer,

who accused him of pinning her against addressing a room wall and forcing himself on her in Manhattan department store in the 90s.

Jury also found that Trump's statement from October, in which he called Carroll a liar, was false.

That he made that statement with actual malice and the statement caused injury to Carroll.
