it feels incredible to me the difference between Liverpool as a club a year ago to Liverpool as it is now?

Yeah, it's a big change.

Liverpool wasn't a nice club to be involved with, I don't think a year ago,

or just over a year ago, because, you know, those of us who were reporting on it were sort of very much aware of the

feeling of the fans and the growing sort of apathy and resentment if you like from the

fans towards the manager.

The football wasn't particularly good to watch.

The experience of the stadium wasn't great.

I can remember being at the Carlisle game in the League Cup and wondering how can any manager ever, you know, get that back on

side, you know, booze on three occasions that night, which you don't, you know, you don't

often hear at Anfield and then within a couple of weeks the mood had changed and although

not everything changed immediately one thing that definitely did was the feeling among the supporters and the fans and the way that they went into games,

they traveled with more optimism and hope and they supported a little bit more the players
