And just like that, we're back, another edition of the Late Kick Extra podcast, special edition

today on this Thursday morning, December 9th, the year of our lure, 2021. Here's what I know. I know that bowl season's coming up. I know the playoffs are coming up. I know every one of you or most of you are going to either pick the games in a pool or outright bet your kids allowance money on it irresponsibly. So I don't want you to do it irresponsibly. I want you to be informed. So here's what I told Jordan to do this morning. Producer Jordan and I, along with Rusty Mansell of Dogs 24-7, um, they had me on to help co-host the Dogs 24-7 Junkyard podcast. It was live on YouTube. And I told Jordan, Jordan, text him on the side, said, record this just in case. and it turned out well. If it sucked, I wouldn't ever tell you about it, but it turned out really well.

Love Rusty, known him for a long time. So what I want to do over the next month, a lot of you have asked for this. Here's the way I can do it. On various platforms, I want to get you as informed as you possibly can be getting ready for the playoffs coming up. And it's not always going to be on this platform. We're not going to have four podcasts like this. It may be like this with Rusty. I may do a Twitter space event with, you know, Tim Watts of Alabama. But I want you to end up being as informed as you can on all these games so that you were informed enough to not be losing a lot of money when it comes time. There are going to be a lot of prop bets out there, going to be a lot of obviously derivative bets along with just the total and the over under and the straight line on the game. But hey, I also want you to sound really, really sharp at the water cooler. So what I did is I had Jordan record this. This is really good stuff. A lot of it is Q&A, just like we do on late kick extra. That's why I allowed him to record it and put it in here because it's the same format. This pertains to you all across the country. It's not just a Georgia thing, because a lot of you, judging by the numbers, were tuned into the SEC championship game. And there's been a lot of talk about what did and didn't matter in that game. Why did it turn out the way it did? And all the lazy narrative around Stetson Bennett and will he or won't he play in the playoffs, guys, that's not why Georgia lost. There a lot more goes into a football game than that. So I didn't realize this until just now. We didn't even talk about the quarterback position this morning because I don't think that that is first and foremost what cost Georgia. Apparently neither did Rusty. This is a really good deep dive. I really think you're going to appreciate this and enjoy this. You're going to get a lot of information out of it at the very least. So sit back and enjoy this. already on the comment section. I am. So as we as we're talking, you know, I'm watching us also

on YouTube because I want to make sure my mom and me ma'amaw and everyone sees me and coach Rusty and producer Jordan on the same screen because sometimes they think I don't really know you guys. They think I'm just making it up. So I do know these guys, man. Like we actually exchanged texts every now and then it happens. By the way, I got to text Jake Grohl. I got to text Kip. I got to make sure our little angels were okay. I know it's that time of year. Everyone's got a sniffle or two, so I got to make sure they're okay. As Jake said this morning, Kirby has him listed his day-to-day right now. I don't know if he's going to be out this week and through spring practice, but right now, Jake Rose listed his day to date. Absolutely. Well, not to rub salt in the

wound, guys, but I wanted to do a little recap of the SEC championship game. Just kind of get some of

Josh's takes on that. Rusty, I know we had talked before the show, and you said everybody's been

wondering about one thing.
