Gee, nice to see you as always. I want to start off this week by talking about the topic which seems to have obsessed the nation, or at least the part of the nation, listens to the GTCC.

And that is not ordinary cycling, but arm cycling.

Yeah, so Ben Williams, the guy in our team and the cycling team who used to be, well, he still does a day a week, I think, with the America's Cup team.

He actually messaged me recently. He said, well well I'll read the text for you my phone exploded

yesterday was sailing and cycling Stato Geeks just listen to your podcast and it all

makes sense now so yeah obviously there's a lot of listeners to the GTCC and they all

messaged him to tell him everything and it sounds like

I was right in that the Kiwis did use their legs in the America's Cup 35 which was two

editions ago the latest one was 36 where was arms only and apparently the the rules change

every four years and yeah yeah um i asked him

why and he just basically fobbed me off i don't know if he couldn't be bothered explaining but he just

said something like where is it now i'll just have a quick look he said don't try and understand it

it's a patronizing blah blah blah so yeah it. So, yeah, it's a bit bonkers.

But he did send me Neil Hunter, who was one of the, I think he's the strongest arm

peddler.
