from the moon and the stars to the tides and the trees. I'm Leah Lane Dirtz, author of The Almanac, a seasonal guide, and this podcast is a collaboration

between myself and Fern, makers of small batch seasonal perfume.

June is the start of summer, and as the new season comes in,'ve been sinking into it with Fern's new fragrance

summer 26. Intriguingly inspired by the old tale of Sir Gawain and the Green Night, it conjures a romantic

questing version of England. The scent is of peachy roses warmed by a Clementine sun, rambling over ruins on a fresh green vine.

This June, we're by the creek, trying not to get stuck in the rich mud as we forage for

for samphire and other salty snacks.

In the water there are eels, travelling just one stage of their incredible life cycles, and above it flip dragon and damsel flies and bright blue demoiselles.

The rising wind whispers old tales and a midsummer's love song that calls upon us to get outside.
