You know, it was my start day, so he let me be.

I'll talk to anybody who wants to talk about it in Boston. So it's David Price last night after the game. Sorry about the little mix up there, everybody. David Price after the game last night. And Billy, we do have the mother-in-law cut, too. We have that one. So this is the one that, to me, should tell you plenty about David Price. Billy Lane again, play it. No, it was not tough at all to focus today. This is baseball. This stuff happens. It happens to the best of the best, and it happened to me tonight. I get to go home, see my family, some my kids, see my dogs, my mother-in-law. I'll be ready in five days. Okay, so again, that quote right there, that quote right there to me tells you everything you need to know right now. As soon as a guy starts talking about, oh, I'm going to go home and see my kids. When he's asked about his failures or the pressures at work, no, no, no, I'm going to go home to see my kids. I'm going to see my wife. In this case, the mother-in-law apparently is part of the discussion, too. But focus on the comment. Once you hear that, you know what it tells you? A guy's deflecting. Guy's deflecting. He doesn't want to own up to it. He doesn't want to accept the reality that he isn't living up to his own standards. And so he gives you some

bull crap flowery answer about how, oh, this isn't the stuff that's really important in life.

It's the other stuff that's important, which is always what we do when we're failing. That's

what we do when we fail. Well, this isn't the stuff that it's important. Remind yourself for that.

It's not the stuff that's important.

But it is the stuff that means something to us. And so somewhere along the line, I would think that David Price is going to reconcile all this, I hope, because I think his career with the Red Sox, however short or long it might be, is going to depend on it.
