Every movie that comes out seems to be some sort of remake, some sort of sequel, some sort of reboot, and nobody, any, no studio is putting money into an original idea.

It's a necessary nostalgia.

And every week we get some sort of announcement that there's going to be an 80s movie that gets some sort of reboot.

We heard Top Gun 2 is going to be coming out.

And poor Val Kilmer.

But Val Kilmer, poor guy is like trying to beg to be in the movie, and he tweeted a photo of himself.

And unfortunately, he looks kind of like an old woman at this point.

And I know he's been very sick, but he's, you know, this is something that needs to go away soon.

So with the success of what's been going on with the Avengers, how it's now the Marvel universe. And every little character that's in any of these movies is getting their own spin-off and their own film. We've seen this. And now you hear like the Fast and the Furious universe where they're going to start spinning off characters there, which I'm all in on. I'm okay with that. Hell, yeah. Once again, guilty pleasure movie.

So it will be new people riding cars. Yeah. New cars, different people. I could see that that's necessary to, because you can't, you break up the gang because it's getting stale, all the guys. So now you've got other people fast and furious. Only so many jobs you can pull, Fred. Yeah. Only so many governments to overthrow.

I did not see the new one. I'm so pissed. I haven't seen it either. I haven't seen it. I really

wanted to go on a big game. I do. I know. I do. I do. But I've not seen this new one. So, and then you've got Star Wars, the Star Wars universe. So Universal Studios is sitting there going, what, what do we got? So what they did was they announced that they were going to start a brand new universe of movies before the first one even came out to see if, oh, maybe people might not like this. And it might be a bad idea to launch something that sucks. And guess what? The mummy comes out today. And that's supposed to be the very first film in what they've announced as the Dark Universe. And they've even got all the actors signed up. Apparently Johnny Depp is going to be, it's all the old monsters from back in the day, like monster movies. So Johnny Depp's going to be the Invisible Man. Javier Bardem is going to be Frankenstein. Is there anything scarier than the invisible man? He's so creepy the way you can't see him. Yeah. And then I'll tell you what about Frankenstein is that he moves at a snail's base. It's exceptionally difficult to get out of harm's way when he cannot bend his knees. It's always fascinated with the danger of Frankenstein.
