Before we present our guests this week, Preston Dennett,

I have a couple of announcements to make.

One is kind of a sad one.

My old friend Tim Beckley, affectionately known as Mr. UFO, died quietly one Sunday evening.

He had been in ill health in recent years and certainly send our condolences to his friends and his family.

On the good news side of it, maybe there is a report in the New York Times,

headlined, U.S. finds no evidence of alien technology and flying objects,

but can't rule it out either.

So it admits, apparently, in this report, which would be public later in June,

that they can't explain some of these objects,

but they don't have what they call proof.

They're alien, but they can't dismiss it.

Let's proceed.

We have the one, the only Preston Dennett,

who has written quite a collection of books covering UFO sightings, and we'll get to his latest title soon.

But hardly a day passes where I don't see some mainstream news outlet and even some not so mainstream will publish a serious article about UFOs. In fact, I just

saw one earlier this morning checking on Google News where this particular piece focused heavily

on Tom DeLong and his participation. And the thing that kind of surprises me here is that he has been almost non-existent.

The Tunes of the SARS Academy hasn't really done much.

But I guess maybe this was an effort to get his name back into it.
