Now we have some breaking news because as of yesterday a 27 year old man out of Milwaukee has taken a plea deal in relation to a horrific crime that occurred in October 2023 where a five-year-old boy was murdered.

Also this past Monday came the long-awaited jury selection in an infamous East Coast

cold case that happened in Boston over 30 years ago. And lastly we're

going to dive into one more cold case where a man was just indicted 15 years

after allegedly beating his uncle with a shovel and stabbing him to death.

All of this right now, hot off the press, on sword and scale daily.

Today's first story takes us to the heart of Wisconsin where a truly horrendous crime occurred.

Now, this was the murder of five-year-old Prince McCree which occurred in October of 2023.

Yesterday on June 2nd one of the suspects in the case was in the courtroom

to change his plea from not guilty to guilty. Now this is 27 year old

David Paterra. So a little bit of background on the case. Five-year-old Prince

disappeared this past fall on the morning of Wednesday, October 25th at his home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

At around 9 a.m. he told his mom that he was going to head down to the basement to play some video games.

This wasn't uncommon inside the household.

But the following morning, the police showed up roughly 24 hours after Prince headed down to the basement and they had located the five-year-old's body.

Now, as a parent myself and many of you who are listeners are parents, what I'm about to describe is truly disgusting. It's disturbing.

So when they located Prince's body, he had been severely beaten. His tiny, tiny limbs were bound

with black duct tape and his mouth had been gagged with a bleach soaked rag, all before being left for dead amongst the various

trash and debris in the dumpster. Authorities were able to quickly identify two

individuals as their persons of interest very early on. Now this was
