A strange couple days for Hanley Ramirez.

Yeah, it was.

He gets hit in the knee. He's out for a couple of games. He gets called out by John Farrell without his name being said. I think we all agree that that was directed towards Hanley. I thought Dan Johnnesty did a good job stirring it up a little bit with Hanley and the manager and everything else. I thought, you know, kind of got things going in that direction, right? kind of pops off a little bit at the press.

Not pops off, but gets a little snippy and defensive when he was asked about whether or not he was or what was going on with him against left-handed pitching. So he, in that Shaughnessy article said, I talk to anybody I people are calling me a manager killer

you know they're saying I'm tough to manage I love being here and I'll speak to anyone on the radio

and let them know that so Dan reached out yesterday and talked to the PR and Hanley was open to it so

Dan yesterday went down to Fenway and did a one-on-one with Hanley Ramirez, and it was very interesting some of the

things he said. So here is Dan from the dugout, right? You just fill it right there?

your thoughts kind of clear the air a little bit yesterday.

Just what are your thoughts as where you're at right now? First of all, you're healthy. That's the

most important thing. You know, getting better by this time of the season, you know, a couple of months.

And I think I should be feeling better, you know, treatment every day and doing little things to get stronger.

What's been the major issue as far as getting you where you want to be health-wise?

That right shoulder, you know, that's my top hand hitting.

You know, you need a bad hand to hit and, you know, to play first.

So, you know, I think that's the, that's been

the main kid. How frustrating is it been? I mean, not really, you know, the way we're playing,

and we're not even hot, you know, so we're in first place because it's not about me. It's

about the team and, you know, it's 24 more guys out there competing every day, you know, so I just try to stay positive and, you know, it's 24 more guys out there competing every day, you know.

So I just try to stay positive and, you know, help the young guys to stay locked in, you know, to everybody gets hot.
