It's Tuesday the 29th of June and I'm in Perth. No, not the capital of Western Australia, but the gateway to the highlands in Scotland.

you can find at the northern end of Perth City Centre a beautiful octagonal church.. This is St Paul's, which for many, many years

was derelict. But now, effectively everything has been taken out and it's been left as an open

space. And a very lovely place it is too, with only a little bit of traffic noise beyond.

Well, the news from Spain is not as great as it might be.

The country, of course, like many others, is looking with horror at the extremely rapid growth of coronavirus in the UK,

and in particular the spread of the Delta

variant. And while they welcome British tourists because of the jobs we create, the money we bring

and the fund that we are, well, like many, many other countries, it is deciding, actually,

we need to have some control over

the people who are coming in so as to protect our population.

So what they appear to be doing from Thursday, the 1st of July, they will be demanding

that either you bring proof of vaccination.

And generally, you can achieve that relatively easily if you have the NHS app.

You can download it in England, certainly, a certificate showing your status in the other

UK nations.
