families picnicking along Mopin Creek. Dozens of radio hobbyists swapped tips and

stories. Many in the group were Mormons, which meant it was mostly families and many, many kids.

That included four-year-old Nyline Marshall, her six-year-old brother, and two-year-old sister.

The Marshall kids weren't so interested in the adults talk of radio frequencies and microphone
