years, Congress has taken a major step forward on gun control. The Senate passed a bipartisan

gun bill last night by a vote of 65 to 33 with 15 Republicans crossing the aisle to vote with

Democrats. The House will take up the bill this morning. It's 80-page package. It is the Rules Committee, which sets the parameters

for floor debate, has scheduled a meeting at 7 a.m. So that means this bill should go to final

passage around noon. And by the way, a lot of people think you shouldn't call it final passage. You should just

call it passage because is there any other passage besides final? But in reality, this bill will go
