In a shocking twist, Justin Ross Harris, the man who was once convicted in the death of his child, has been released from prison.

A convicted serial killer in California has been charged with a death of a woman in Utah back in 1998.

Police in Miramar, Florida, believe they've cracked a nearly 40-year-old gold case.

Justin Ross Harris.

You're probably familiar with that name.

His story was one of those stories that went viral in the early 2010s.

And his story went viral because his 22-month-old son, Cooper, was left in the car on a hot day.

He would eventually be convicted in his son's death.

He was just released from prison this past Sunday on Father's Day. How fitting. But he's still technically in custody, so let's dive into it.

The tragic tale of Young Cooper Harris took the world by storm.

Back on June 18, 2014, Mr. Harris would depart his home in Atlanta,

intending to drop his son off at daycare.

After that, he was going to go to his job at the Home Depot Corporate Office where he worked as a web developer.

But somewhere along the way, Mr. Harris seemed to have forgotten that his child was in the back seat of the car and he just went directly to work.

He didn't hear his child apparently, didn't even check the backseat, just got out of his car, and went and worked a full day.

While Justin was inside working, his 22-month-old son was suffering in the parking lot of his work.
