That morning, 66-year-old Rex de George stood in front of a judge and apologized for his actions,

but she didn't believe a single word. Before announcing his sentence, the judge called DeGeorge

arrogant and brazen. She claimed his words didn't have a ring of truth. DeGeorge was sentenced to seven and a half years in prison for 16 counts of mail fraud, conspiracy, wire fraud, and perjury.
