President Trump convened his top national security aides today for a crucial meeting on Iran as Israel's air campaign continued for a fifth day.

The meeting came after Mr. Trump left the G7 summit early to fly back to Washington and as the U.S. is sending fighter jets and a second American carrier strike group to the region.
