Gene and special guest cohost Curtis Collins present scientist and researcher Dr. Irena Scott, author of "Inside the Lightning Ball: A Scientific Study of Lifelong UFO Experiencers." Dr. Scott has worked in crucial institutions involved in the UFO field–the Defense Intelligence Agency, Battelle Memorial Institute, and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. Her book delves deeply into the scientific study of the reports of people, who experienced childhood sightings and additional events during their lifetimes. Included are findings suggesting that the phenomena may be interactive with human thoughts, discussion of abduction and contact, synchronicity, and speculation that such reports are simply the tip of the iceberg to more complex interactions. Dr. Scott begins the episode with a lengthy discussion of her own amazing experiences.

0:57.0	I know most of you have wondering where Chris O'Brien has been, because he's been on the show
1:03.0	with less frequency over the past couple of years, partly as a result of illnesses after
1:08.5	he gave up smoking, which you got to think. Isn't smoking supposed to
1:12.8	make you ill? I hope our guests do not smoke, but I won't ask them. But that isn't the issue here.
1:19.1	He found that everything he's doing is taking up an increasing amount of time. He started a major
1:23.9	fundraiser for his San Luis Valley Camera Project, and something had to give, and after
1:30.4	eight years of being the guest host on the power cast, we had to give.
1:35.1	And so we are proud to have had Chris making this show greater than ever, and we wish him
1:41.7	look in his new pursuits.
1:43.1	He's got a new radio show coming, a much shorter
1:45.2	one, meaning less work on his part. And of course, he'll be continuing his work on the San
1:50.3	Louis Valley Camera Project. You can find more information on what Chris is doing, by the way,
