0:06.3	the New Testament in the Bible, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. These are the stories of Jesus Christ
0:10.4	life on earth, the friendships, the parables, the sacrifices, the meals, the miracles. Each month,
0:15.6	we get to read all four books, we're halfway through this month, but make sure you're subscribed,

0:34.2	day 16 of this month, and I'll be reading John chapters two through four. And this month,
0:39.2	I'm reading from the NRSV. John 2. On the third day, there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee,
0:48.6	and the mother of Jesus was there. Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding.
0:54.2	When the wine gave out, the mother of Jesus said to him,
0:56.8	they have no wine. And Jesus said to her, woman, what concern is that to you and to me?
1:02.8	My hour has not yet come. His mother said to the servants, do whatever he tells you.
1:08.8	Now standing there were six stone water jars for the Jewish rights of purification,
1:13.2	each holding 20 or 30 gallons. Jesus said to them, fill the jars with water, and they filled
1:19.0	them up to the brim. He said to them, now draw some out and take it to the chief steward.
1:24.4	So they took it. When the steward tasted the water that had become wine and did not know where it
1:29.5	came from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew, the steward called the bridegroom and
1:33.8	said to him, everyone serves the good wine first and then the inferior wine after the guests have
1:39.0	become drunk. But you have kept the good wine until now. Jesus did this, the first of his signs
1:45.1	in Cana of Galilee and revealed his glory and his disciples believed in him. After this,
1:51.1	he went down to Capernum with his mother, his brothers, and his disciples. And they remained there
