Hey, good morning. I'm playbook co-author Eugene Daniels. It's Thursday, June 15th. A big day around here. It's an opinion day for the Supreme Court. We have 21 cases remaining pending as of this morning. Tomorrow, us'll another opinion day. We should be seeing

something shortly after 10 a.m. There are lots of cases. And like our children, we don't have any

favorites. You're not any bigger than each other. But there are a few that people are really,

really keeping an eye on. One is a case that is looking at the

legality of affirmative action in higher education, especially because the impact of that case

can go further than higher education in college. And then we have the legality of Biden's

student debt relief plan, where millions of people around the country are waiting to

find out whether or not they will still owe thousands of dollars to the federal government for

college. And we have a class between the non-discrimination laws in Colorado that protect LGBTQ plus

people and free speech rights of conservative business owners there in the state.

And then one that people who care a lot about elections in this country are looking at the

independent state legislature theory. You've heard us talk about this before, but it essentially

looks at the power of state legislatures to set rules for federal elections without any

supervision from state courts.

It gives them quite a bit of power.

And joining me to discuss the ins and outs of the rest of this big term for the Supreme Court,

we have our Josh Gerstein.
