You should know something.

We're going to talk about off and on during the show today about what happened in Orlando yesterday in the news.

But you should know this too.

We're very aware. And I'm a dad, even

though my kids are older now, I'm a dad very aware. You get kids in the car. There's a certain

way I want people to talk about it when I'm in the car so that it's not a traumatizing thing.

And that's definitely the approach we'll take. So my wife and I got real good at that,

talking about stuff without saying certain things.

You would have to.

I'll tell you something as a kid.

That is incredibly frustrating because you know something, but you can't quite figure it out.

Yeah, we developed whole alternate vocabularies or we'd heighten our level of discourse at the table so that the kids

would just keep munching on their Cheerios or whatever and not know what's going on that's just part

of being a parent so we want you to know that too like this is important stuff we're going to talk about

it i think there's a lot that if you're a follower of jesus your faith is going to bring to bear

when you talk about these sorts of sorts of things and think about it but faith is going to bring to bear when you talk about

these sorts of things and think about it but we're going to do it in such a way the best we can

so that you can have kids in the car is not going to be a trauma thing this was astounding yesterday

when the story initially broke and it was early in the morning, when the story from Orlando broke, but the hashtags that were already trending on Twitter within seconds after it happened.
