Hey folks just a quick message let you know that I am fine. Everything's okay, things are going well.

It's just that these treatments are really taking a toll on my energy level.

I think the word I used last time to describe it was gassed and that's exactly how I feel.

It's a debilitating fatigue and I really would feel not very professional trying to do the program

feeling this way today would not certainly be meeting or even surpassing your expectations.

But I miss it and I can't wait for Monday I will be back Monday after a couple more days to recuperate and get the energy level back.

So hope you have a great weekend and just know that I am missing you more than you know and I'll see you on Monday.

And as you know if you've heard Rush these last few months since this whole thing began when he's on he's on and he will be back next week full strength in the meantime I regret to say it is well you know I don't want to put a percentage on it.

But meeting and surpassing audience expectations doesn't really enter into it.

Markstein honored and thrilled to be here I never dreamt when I came to this country I've worked in broadcasting terribly successfully in many other parts of the world I never dreamt when I came to this country that Rush would give me the privilege of hosting America's number one radio show 1 800 28282 is the number to call I love to hear from any of you right wing left wing.

Crazy left wing off the charts left wing whoever you are do call and I'd love to hear what you have to say on the issues of the day the one difference between me and rush is Russian in the end is always an optimist rush has a terrific optimistic spirit and he has occasionally mocked me over the years for being Mr doom and glue Mr apocalypse now.

And it's true I take a generally more pessimistic view of the way of the world than rush does and it's only very occasionally over all these years that I've ever heard him express just a few moments a doubt I remember on the afternoon.

Of the November 2000 election when he'd seen some exit poll and he said on the air folks I have to tell you there may not be as many of us as I thought they were and I remember being surprised and a little bit frightened by that as you know we were then plunged into weeks and weeks of hanging chads and dimple chads and dangling chads.

In the chat lands of Florida as that election was flashed out and I don't think there was any kind of definitive result until the Supreme Court ruling in December or whatever it was but other than that rush has always been an optimist I can't wait to hear what he has to say on Monday.

Because if you are an optimist this last week is just basically being the March of the morons as they have slowly come what started as an outbreak of.
