Hi, welcome to Hollywood Crime Scene. This is Rachel Fisher. Hi, this is Desi Jadakim. This week, we are

recapping the 2009 film Obsessed, starring Beyoncé and Idris Elba and Allie Larder. Yeah.

Quite a interesting movie because this movie is essentially the crush mixed with fatal attraction,

but watered down versions of both of those. It's a very lifetime movie. Yeah. And I was just telling

Desi before we started recording. I saw this in the theater because obviously this is a genre of film

that I've been a fan of for a very long time. So as soon as I saw the trailer for this movie, I was like,

I need to see that immediately. And I remember liking it when I said, like, it's a perfectly,

you know, it does the job of what I expect for this kind of movie. But let's just get into it.

The movie begins with married couple Sharon and Derek Charles, aka Beyoncé and Idris Elba pulling

into their new home with their young son. This is a really nice big house in Pasadena probably

because this takes place in LA. It was really a nice house. It's like it's very nice turn of the

century. Yeah. Dark wood. No bad flip. It was like all original moldings and everything.

Right. Yeah. There wasn't like some flipper who put in like some ugly backsplash in the kitchen.

Everything looked really nice. It was a very tasteful, beautiful old home. Yeah. In Los Angeles.

So already we know like this is a this is a wealthy couple. We see them going through the house.
